Fruits of Hawai'i Series. A quadtych displaying a variety of edible fruits found on the Big Island of Hawai’i; both the insides and outsides are represented. The fruits depicted are the common mango, grumichama, ohelo berry, poha berry, coconut, rambutan, apple banana, rollinia, mountain apple, noni, salak, mangosteen, eggfruit, mulberry, thimbleberry, abiu, koster’s curse, common guava, tangerine, jabuticaba, surinam cherry, dragonfruit, strawberry guava, coffee fruit, cacao, mamey sapote, fuyu persimmon, starfruit, ice cream bean, star apple, pineapple, sapodilla, pulasan, longan, jackfruit, lychee, ulu, java plum, common lilikoi, and papaya.
A triptych featuring three characters from classic Comedia Dell’arte theater. A Pierrot, Colombina, and Harlequin. The piece is styled after late 1800’s and early 1900’s french theater posters.
